HVAC Vault Privacy Policy

HVAC Vault is operated by Jownah Labs. This policy describes the information HVAC Vault stores and processes, the third-party services it relies on, and how you can delete your account. HVAC Vault uses Supabase for authentication, database infrastructure, and private file storage.

Information the app may store or process

• Account information
• Email address
• User profile information
• Course and progress information
• AI conversations
• AI messages and prompts
• AI usage records
• Question and image usage counts used for plan limits
• HVAC images voluntarily uploaded by users
• Subscription status
• Subscription plan
• Subscription and customer identifiers
• Subscription renewal and period information, where applicable

HVAC AI

You choose what you submit to the HVAC AI. AI conversations and messages may be saved to your account so your conversation history can be provided back to you. You may voluntarily upload HVAC-related images for AI analysis; uploaded images are stored in private Supabase Storage associated with your authenticated account and backend. AI submissions are transmitted to the third-party AI infrastructure required to generate responses — the current application routes AI requests through Lovable's AI gateway infrastructure to a Google Gemini model. Please avoid submitting unnecessary personal, confidential, or sensitive information to the AI assistant.

Payments and subscriptions

The current web implementation uses Stripe to process subscription payments. HVAC Vault does not store your full payment card number. The application may maintain the information necessary to manage subscription access, including your plan, subscription status, subscription period and renewal information, your Stripe customer identifier, and your Stripe subscription identifier. The mobile application is being prepared for Apple App Store and Google Play billing.

HVAC disclaimer

HVAC Vault provides educational information, troubleshooting information, training resources, diagnostic assistance, and AI-assisted information. AI-generated or troubleshooting information may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every HVAC system or equipment configuration. Users remain responsible for following manufacturer documentation, following electrical and mechanical codes, following proper safety procedures, using appropriate PPE, verifying equipment specifications, and exercising professional judgment. HVAC Vault and Jownah Labs do not replace required professional training, licensing, certification, manufacturer documentation, or appropriate safety procedures.

Third-party services

• Supabase — Authentication, database infrastructure, and private file storage.
• Stripe — Web subscription and payment processing.
• Lovable — Application hosting/infrastructure and AI gateway infrastructure where applicable.
• Google Gemini — AI model infrastructure used through the application's AI implementation.

Account deletion and retention

HVAC Vault includes account deletion functionality in the app. Account deletion is designed to remove the associated application information listed below. You are signed out after a successful account deletion.

• User profile
• AI conversations and messages
• AI usage records
• Course and progress data
• App-maintained subscription records
• Uploaded AI images associated with the account
• Authentication account

Third-party records governed independently by third-party providers may be subject to those providers' retention requirements.

Limited information may also be retained when legitimately required for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or regulatory purposes.
